Online Counselling Services

What is online counselling?

Online counselling is a version of therapy conducted through the internet over video chat (i.e. Skype, FaceTime, etc.) or over the phone. The therapy session will not take place in a traditional office setting but virtually.

why choose online counselling?

There are a variety of reasons why a client might prefer to communicate with their therapist virtually as opposed to in-office. The commute might be inconvenient for the client. Some clients are able to be more comfortable and open if they can speak to their therapist from home instead of in-office. Online counselling is also helpful for people with disabilities who may find it difficult or impossible to get to an in-office session. Another benefit of online counselling is that a client is able to communicate with their therapist from anywhere.

Online counselling, like in-office counselling, remains strictly confidential. Information about clients can only be released if a consent form is signed by the client.
