Benefits of Counselling

It can be difficult to be objective with ourselves. Rather than confronting our problems, we may deny,  minimize or modify them depending on how painful they are. In particular, if we struggle with addictive issues, we may not  trust others or we may be overly defensive. This defensiveness creates problems in our relationships and  reduces our ability to experience happiness.

One-to-one counseling is comprised of powerfully-effective methods  that enable us to feel safe enough to identify and change  obstacles to our peace and happiness. Counselling encourages us to reduce our use of defence mechanisms, allowing us to stop our repetitive, addictive behaviours. Counselling helps us to develop  alternative healthy ways to express our thoughts and feelings
